Hamilton: Cupid & Psyche and The Norse Gods

Cupid and Psyche. Probably one of the greatest and oldest love stories. Really? Who doesn’t love a story about a beautiful, glittering, Greek God and his curiously crazy wife?! The main ideas to remember for this story, are Psyche’s tasks, they are a symbol that is used throughout literature. If you need some extra help, watch this Barbie version of Cupid and Psyche.

The Norse Gods and Norse Mythology is the second part of your reading. The one hint, to help you, before you start reading is to realize that Norse Mythology is not Greek Mythology. Norse Mythology is a subset of German Mythology. So, remember when reading.. Zeus, Hera and the rest of their soap-opera filled family, are non-existent in these stories. If you need some extra help, or just want to get a better idea of what is going on, check this out.

The quiz is on Edmodo and ready for you to take when you have finished reading.

Have a great weekend. We are off to a great start for our year. See you on Monday
